The speed is average, but it accelerates rather well and has great turning. Now the T64, now that thing, is what we in the buisness call "The Good Sh*t" In fact it is so good that slightly upgraded T64s with ERA and optics are miles better than T72s which were meant to be cheaper and less complicated than the T64 and it shows, however with upgrades the T72 gets close to as good as the T80 itself an evolution of the T64 but simpler and cheaper however the T80 with upgrades is much better than the T90 which is itself really just a heavily modified T72.Ĭonfusing I know but the X tank is Better than Y tank because number bigger stops being a thing after the T55. The ATGM make for excellent long range sniping, and since they are very fast for ATGMs hitting a target with them is rather easy and gives the enemy less time to react to your shots.

It was designed to be a cheap export tank and was never even accepted into service for the russian army in any numbers because it was so bad, upgraded T55s with better optics, composite plates, and ERA were what they used rather than attempting to upgrade the T62 because it is actually an inferior base model tank than the T55 all things considered. Its actually not a direct upgrade at all, in fact, its more of a sidegrade/downgrade. Maybe it will gets slightly better after I spaded it, it feels sluggish as hell, and having no 50 cal machinegun at 8.3 is bull**** I thought it supposed to be an direct upgrade to the T-55 lol.
